Soybean Market | Refined Soy Oil Futures Edge Up 0.17 PC on Spot Demand | Soy Production (Apr 23, 2018)

Refined soy oil prices were trading up by 0.17 per cent to Rs 775.70 10 kg in futures trade as speculators raised bets, tracking a firm trend at the spot market on pick-up in demand.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soy oil for delivery in May edged higher by Rs 1.30, or 0.17 per cent, to Rs 775.70 per 10 kg with an open interest of 57,400 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in April was trading up by 75 paise, or 0.10 per cent, to Rs 765.50 per 10 kg in 8,400 lots.

Analysts said widening of positions by traders following a rise in demand in the physical market against restricted supplies from producing belts, mainly influenced refined soy oil prices at futures trade.
